Awards will be given for the outstanding papers and posters selected from the extended abstracts and posters, respectively.
Notification of Scholarship Recipients has been announced by email. If you don't know it, please contact at the registration desk.
It is generally expected that the contact authors of extended abstracts scheduled for presentation will secure their own travel funding for attending the symposium. Scholarships will be awarded to some young researchers, who are 40 years old or younger, at the Banquet on 2 December 2019 (the second day of YSRM2019&REIF2019) for assistance in attending the symposium.
Currently, the scholarship selection committee of YSRM2019&REIF2019 is offering two different scholarships.
Scholarship A: Decent support (Partial airfare/accommodation and registration fee)
Scholarship B: Modest support (Registration fee and a little more)
Each scholarship is granted to the contact author for a particular paper. Scholarships are non-transferable. Only the granted amount will be paid out to the awarded contact author personally at the Banquet of YSRM2019&REIF2019.
If the paper is withdrawn before the symposium or if for any reason the paper is not presented at the symposium, even if the author who has been awarded the scholarship is present at the symposium, the award must be returned.
The nominees must satisfy all of the following criteria:
- be age 40 or younger
(The nominees should be persons who were born on or after 1 December 1979. Japanese nominees should be students.)
- be a contact author of a submitted extended abstract
- be a member of ISRM
- complete the registration form
- actually attend YSRM2019&REIF2019
Anyone wishing to apply for a scholarship should submit the APPLICATION FORM in PDF format with a CV to email@example.com by 10 August 2019.
The scholarship selection committee will decide about awarding support to individual contributors by 30 September 2019. All applicants will be informed of the decision once it has been made.
